The project
The client had a clear ambition: produce an annual awards gala that felt genuinely different from every corporate dinner their team had attended before. Six hundred guests, a single evening, one chance to get it right — and the expectation that every detail would reflect the scale of their achievements.
We took full responsibility for the entire event — venue, scenography, lighting, catering, entertainment and flow. The design balanced formal grandeur with warmth, creating a space that felt celebratory from the moment guests walked in rather than something they had to warm up to over the first hour.
The result was an evening that earned a standing ovation before the awards even started. The kind of gala where the dinner itself becomes the story people tell.
Arrival & cocktail reception
Guests arrived to a curated cocktail reception — drinks, live ambient music and a space already dressed for the evening ahead. The kind of arrival that sets the tone before a single word is spoken.
Gala dinner & awards
A five-course gala dinner with live service, curated wine pairing and the award ceremony woven seamlessly into the flow of the evening — each reveal moment choreographed for maximum impact without breaking the energy of the room.
Entertainment & celebration
Live entertainment and music carried the evening from dinner into celebration — the kind of closing energy that makes six hundred people feel like they were part of something genuinely worth remembering.
Gastronomy
The gastronomic experience was designed with the same level of attention as the rest of the evening — a five-course menu, curated wine pairing and presentation that matched the scale of the occasion. Food and service as part of the scenography, not just sustenance.
We gave Sugar one of our most important evenings of the year. The result exceeded every expectation — the room looked extraordinary, the service was flawless and our team is still talking about it six months later.
