The brief
The host came to us through a referral with a single sentence about how the day should feel — and a guest list small enough to fit around one long table. The rest of the brief was ours to write.
We took the day as a sequence of three moments rather than a programme. An arrival in the Barcelona sun, slow enough to let the room settle. A long lunch in good light, with the table dressed to feel less like a setting and more like a still life. And one centrepiece moment built around a bespoke cake — large, theatrical, brought in at the exact angle of the afternoon sun.
Catering was placed in the hands of a chef and a service team we trust without instruction. The styling was tuned to the host, not to a photograph. By design, there is very little here to publish — and that was the point.

The food on the day — and the team standing behind it — was handled by L'Esclusivita. Two formats of menu, table service, kitchen logistics on a private rooftop, all of it delivered to the standard that lets us hand over the kitchen and focus on everything else.
Private celebrations are the briefs we work hardest on, because there's almost nothing to show afterwards. The work is in the room on the day, and then it's gone. This one had Barcelona sun, a long table, a cake worth flying for, and a host who let us do the job. Everything else stays private.
